The DOL filed a lawsuit against three Barrio Taco restaurant in Michigan, seeking $823,000 in back wages and damages. Police said the man who killed three students and critically injured five others on Monday night at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich., was carrying two handguns and a note threatening several businesses and institutions and stating potential reasons for some of the threats, but officials said Thursday they couldn’t give a definitive motive. Anthony McRae , the 43-year-old Lansing, Mich., man who police say shot and killed himself as officers approached him hours after the attack, was carrying two 9mm handguns, multiple magazines filled with 9mm ammunition and two empty magazines, said Lt. Rene Gonzalez of the Michigan State Police. He had purchased the weapons legally, officials said, but they weren’t registered.
